99 2018 Anuário Brasileiro do Setor de Locação de Veículos Brazilian Vehicle Rental Sector Yearbook Sector will have a strategic presence at the Motor Show A recovery in vehicle production and sales, cutting- edge technologies and individuals and companies with new expectations have sparked enthusiasm about the 30th edition of the São Paulo International Motor Show, to be held in November 2018.The synergy between the show and the rental segment is extremely strategic. For three consecutive editions, the rental sector has had a booth at the largest biennial event for the automotive industry in Latin America. The presence of ABLA’s institutional stand at the show - to be held again at the São Paulo Expo center, in the city of São Paulo - is fundamental. This is the opinion of Luiz Bellini, Product Manager at Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado, for whom the relevance of the partnership maintained with the players in the rental business is also supported by the representativeness and tradition of ABLA. “It’s important to be together with an association that for 40 years has represented one of the strongest segments in the automotive industry nationwide,” he says. According to Bellini, the presence of car rental professionals at the International Motor Show “Generates benefits for us and our exhibitors, mainly because of the strength and potential volume of business in this sector.” In this context, Bellini stresses “The fact that the segment is made up of more than 700,000 vehicles in its total fleet.” With the promise of attractions for rental entrepreneurs, Bellini is preparing to open the doors to launches and innovations that he says have always characterized the main models launched. About trends, the executive believes there will be a convergence between current and new technologies, from the adoption of advances in vehicles that contribute to mobility and driver comfort. “In the main global shows, electrification, connectivity, smart cities and autonomous vehicles are already part of the show,” says Luiz Bellini.”It will be no different at the São Paulo Show,” he adds. Among the new developments at the event there will be a larger external area for test drives; content aimed at presenting new proposals in the field of mobility; and expansion in the universe of social networks, making information from the São Paulo International Show available to more than one million people on the internet. “With all of this, we will be the most connected motor show in the world,” says Bellini.   Which for 40 years, ABLA has represented one of the strongest segments in the automotive industry que, segundo ele, sempre caracterizaram a princi- pal passarela dos modelos recém-saídos das fá- bricas.
