© Duvulgação FENAUTO Proven reaction capability S uddenly we were frightened by the need to remain isolated, without being able to share moments of joy, work and leisure with our loved ones and friends. Brazil was not exempt from this paralysis that marked practically the whole of last year. Here too, in addition to hundreds of thousands of people who lost their lives, businesses closed, and the economy stopped just as it did in the rest of the world. With dealers closed, financial managers concerned about credit and potential customers at home, we had a first quarter with gloomy projections. But Fenauto did not stop and it continued to work tirelessly, so that our segment did not lack information. On the contrary, we armed business with creative tips to assist in doing business. We had more than three dozen live streams with the country’s leading financial agents, car buying and selling platforms, industry partners, authorities and many other professionals. That is, we were there in dealers’ daily lives, always assisting them. In more excellent news, the 9th Fenauto Congress was a success, with record registrations, great speakers and relevant topics that had a great effect on the market. Even in a digital environment, we could feel the excitement of all the participants who visited our event. Despite the impact of the pandemic, the sector reacted quickly to and, for this reason, suffered less than other sectors, achieving a satisfactory result slightly below the forecast for the year. We expect this positive trend to continue in 2021 with the normalization of the economy, the vaccine, and a resumption of trade. Brazil has a great capacity for recovery, and this makes us hopeful for doing business, for which we count on the continuity of good relationships with members of ABLA.
