16 Anuário Brasileiro do Setor de Locação de Veículos Brazilian Vehicle Rental Sector Yearbook 2024 FENALOC Work and unity in the pursuit of solutions We are working to bring people involved in the day-to-day operations of motor vehicle rental companies, especially in the legal and legislative areas, closer together. Our scenario is unique and creates the need bring into our activity the actors who are directly or indirectly involved in the operation and operationalization of motor vehicle leasing. The nineteen Employers’ Unions (SINDLOCS) in the country form the basis of this work. The situation faced by each state is presented to FENALOC so we can monitor, in real time, everything that affects the motor vehicle rental sector. At the 2023 FENALOC Seminar, an event of the utmost legal and legislative importance, we met with representatives of government institutions, supervisory bodies, lawyers, and transport experts, who engaged in high-level debate to better understand the motor vehicle rental sector. The initiative created an opening for in-depth discussions regarding the problems the sector is facing, to arrive at clear, definitive solutions. The 2024 FENALOC Seminar will be held in September, again in Brasília, for the bodies and institutions involved in the motor vehicle rental sector to discuss, debate, and clarify issues in the pursuit of joint solutions. The Transport System (CNT – SEST/SENAT – ITL), always a partner, has given its support to all our activities and we are sure that, with continuous, focused work, this support will be stronger and broader every day. The year 2024 will be one of growth for FENALOC. We will seek to increase our base and expand the scope of our work. Furthermore, FENALOC and ABLA will work together for the benefit of the sector.
