anuário brasileiro do setor de locação de veículos 2016 74 The Professional Development actions by SEST SENAT are carried out through the Professional Education Program, which aims at guaranteeing the training and the qualification of workers in the transport sector and other groups by promoting educational actions and projects which value the real interests of individuals, the companies and working environments needs, as well as the growth and productivity of the transport sector. In 2015, more than 1.521.000 attendances were put into practice in courses, campaigns and lectures carried though by the 149 Operational Units of SEST SENAT spread over the country, present in all Brazilian states. With a National Portfolio of Classroom Courses - which contemplates 133 courses dedicated to the demands of workers from the sector - the Operational Units registered 690.912 enrollments. From this total, 67% were for courses regulated CONTRAN, designed to the training and/or updating of professionals in the sector and 33% were for open courses, in which there are teachings about the administration and leadership areas, for example. The National Portfolio of Distance Courses contemplates 9 courses aimed at the areas of administration, transport, logistics and health and two virtual tests applied to those interested in obtaining the RNTRC – National Register of Land Transportation. Specific qualifying ABLA SEST SENAT has promoted three courses in 2015, specially for the car rental market. The work involved composing exclusive groups for ABLA’s associates. In December 2 and 3, the qualification course “Effective Client Attendance” was carried out in Brasília/ DF. Participants learned, among other topics, about interpersonal relationship, conflict solution and client loyalty. In the city of Florianópolis/SC, the course “Personnel Administration” was given from November 16 to 20. Participants got to know the fundamental aspects of human resources, selection and hiring processes, besides attracting and maintaining professionals. “Fleet Administration” was the course carried out in Cariacica/ ES, with a focus on the administration of light vehicles. Classes took place between October 19 and 22, in a total course load of 20 hours. To SEST SENAT, the relationship with ABLA and the work done, as well as kept with the other representative institutions in the transport area, was fundamental for a better understanding of the sector’s real needs, the professional qualification of workers and the better attendance to the transport. Os participantes conheceram os aspectos fundamentais dos recursos humanos, os processos de seleção e recrutamento, além da captação e manutenção de profissionais. “Gestão de Frotas” foi o curso realizado em Vitória/ES, com foco na administração de veículos leves. As aulas aconteceram entre os dias de 19 e 22 de outubro, com carga horária total de 20 horas. Para o SEST SENAT, a relação com a ABLA e o trabalho realizado, assim como mantém com as demais instituições representativas da área de transportes, foi fundamental para a melhor compreensão das reais necessidades do setor, a capacitação profissional dos trabalhadores e o melhor atendimento ao transporte.
